College Basketball Recruiting
October 16, 2008 by Kenney
If you want to be top college basketball recruit, then you’ll love this report “The BIGGEST Myth” about being recruited as a high school athlete to college.
Here’s a secret:
If you want to be a top college basketball recruit you can’t sit back and “WAIT” for the letters to come in or for the phone to ring.
You’re an athlete! Since when do we sit back and wait for anything?
Which is why I want to congratulate you on what you’re doing right now. You are taking the initiative to get recruited, to become a highly recruited athlete, and to get that scholarship.
Sports in high school are so fun…And the rewards of making it to play in college are…
…awesome! You’ll love college ball.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s grueling, but it’s soo sooo fun – Hard practices, traveling, great competition, and you still have to maintain good grades as a full-time student. It’s a challenge to say the least.
But there are a few activities that you must do to get recruited:
- You have to develop yourself into a solid athlete and basketball player.
- You have to keep a good GPA and pass your SAT or ACT test.
- You have to become eligible to play in the NCAA.
- You have to get recruited and accept an athletic scholarship.
This is a small sample of what it takes to play in college.
Did you know:
- There are 1,002,040 high school basketball players.
- But Only 30,624 NCAA basketball players.
- There are also 652 Division 1 Basketball Teams in the NCAA…
- 560 teams in Division II, and 817 teams in Division III basketball.
- And those basketball players are fighting for 9,126 scholarships in Division I and 5,600 basketball scholarships in Division II.
How will you stand out? By working hard to develop your skills as a great “baller”, by keeping up with your grades and becoming NCAA eligible, and by putting the recruiting secret to work for you.
To Your immediate and lasting college basketball recruiting success,

Great that you’re trying to profit off your experience but how about reading the grammar on your website where you use except instead of accept (first one meaning all but and the second meaning to take what’s offered) and that doesn’t even take into account the number of time you use “your” instead of “you’re”. Get it together – if you’re taking people’s money how about showing them that you can write a sentence.
Hey there Ann (Calvary Brat)… Thanks for visiting my site and blog. I can see you are so livid with me.
Yeah, I guess I did have a couple of grammar errors. Sometimes you get to moving so fast and it happens.
Sorry you couldn’t get passed all of that to see that there is some really good info on this site… and guess what, most of it (almost all) is free.
I would have loved for you to just go, hey Ken, you have these errors you might want to correct. I would have been like “that’s cool, thanks. Is there anyway that I can help you?”
For anyone who doesn’t know, if you go to the home page of this site: athleticcollegerecruiting.com, you will see a product that you can buy. It’s only 25 buckaroos.
You don’t have to buy it, you can read the free stuff, and then try and convince someone that you know who has gotten heavily recruited (and received a scholarship) to help you get to the school of your choosing.
Actually, Ann, I don’t know why you’re so mad that I am selling something, not to be funny, but did you get mad at the grocery store when they profited off selling you groceries, or the clothing store for selling you clothes. By the way, did they give you anything free when they did that.
Well, I will continue to offer free stuff, sometimes it will have grammar errors, and spelling mistakes, but hey it doesn’t take away from how good the content is.
I apologize for upsetting you, hope to see ya around again, but in a better mood.
Kenney
